The hotel is very well located for travelling into London. There is an underground station close by. The room looked basic, but had everything I needed including a fridge and a kettle to make tea or coffee. It was very clean and the staff on reception were very pleasant.

Based on the previous comments, I already knew that this is a quality hotel. The praise was truly deserved and justified. The room was good, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was also good, Greenford Tube station is reasonably close. Special thanks go to the staff, a big thank to you! You are wonderful people! The professionalism, kindness & care received from staff. I arrived extra early at around 8 am due to a bad experience and the need to leave my prior accommodation. On arrival at Grims Dyke Hotel, I asked if I could leave my bag at reception until it was time to check in at 3 pm. The lovely receptionists phoned room service and asked that a room be prioritised and made up and I was invited to have a coffee whilst I waited. I asked if I could order breakfast as I was starving because I had been too scared to leave my room in the prior accommodation. When I arrived at the restaurant, the staff were expecting me, and while I was enjoying breakfast, I was brought my room key. My room was quiet, safe, and soothing. I was able to collect myself and I went for a walk in the neighbouring area for 3 hours. The kindness and care received by the staff meant so much and completely changed my day and my holiday moving forward for the better. Thank you!

    It is many years since I worked in London and lived not far...

    It is many years since I worked in London and lived not far from Northwood. I used the High Street just for the night I was there for an evening meal. These days there is plenty of choice, the usual Italian, Indian, pizza and Chinese but others such as Argentinian and Pacific rim-fusion make an appearance. Going by my tried and tested method of a walk-by of all the options and pick the busiest, I ended up at the chinese, The Tai Pan, and very good it was! Always trust the locals...
