The hotel is beautifully designed with an elegant aesthetic combining soft earthy colors, high end textiles (curtains, upholstery, linens) with modern lighting in a historic building. The breakfast was very generous including all sorts of yogurts, fruit, muesli and granola as well as a full hot breakfast. I had poached eggs on avocado toast which was delicious.

The inn is absolutely adorable! The room was large and comfortable and in the center of the cutest town you've ever seen! Free parking was a great bonus. We noticed after our stay that we were accidentally doubled charged for the room but I was able to email the inn and they responded immediately and fixed the mistake.

St Anne's is a delightful place to stay, right in the heart of Painswick and 10-15 mins walk to the Rococo Garden. Lovely room, complete with fresh flowers. Delicious breakfast in the morning. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Painswick is a quaint beautiful town.

Painswick is a quaint beautiful town. The Rococo Gardens are stunning and we visited the church but I didn't snap photos of it. The restaurant at The Painswick is excellent. Loved the Beef Wellington and the halibut. Both nights I hoped to be able to manage dessert but could not eat another bite!

    Local charity shop!

Local charity shop! Well stocked and sometimes has interesting objects. Worth checking out. Local arts centre and a tea place nearby. Dog friendly zone in the local recreation ground. If you can get the local magazine "The Painswick Beacon" lists what's happening in the area and also local services should you need anything whilst in the area.

We stayed at Tibblewell Lodge which is a fantastic place to visit in this beautiful village. The village has a small shop but it has most things and you can always find a treat or two. There are a few places to eat and drink in the village and the choice and quality of food was fantastic. Painswick is great just to walk around although hilly there is plenty to see and the church is a nice little respite area to sit and relax. It is a breath taking area to visit well worth a visit.

Beautiful, historic Cotswold village with good local facilities and plenty to do and visit in the area, especially when the weather permits walking and outdoor activities. Larger towns nearby (Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham) offer supermarkets and additional facilities.

The lady was very welcoming from the first time we met until our last goodbye. Painswick is a beautiful place and the surrounding areas were full of places to see and things to enjoy. Breakfast was good and there were places to sit outside where my son and I could enjoy a game of uno or a throw of the ball around without disturbing the other guests. We would recommend to anyone who will listen.

The breakfast was excellent and being offered a box to take away what we didn’t eat was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed both meals we had in the restaurant. The room was quirky, comfortable and warm. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The location in Painswick was ideal and free car parking was a very short walk away across the church yard.
