Lovely town, has everything you need in walking distance. Locals are all friendly, offering recommendations to attractions and places to eat. The staff in arrival were attentive. The breakfast staff looked after us and checked we had everything we needed. We didn’t have dinner the night we arrived because we were shattered but the meals offered were fairly priced . Penistone is a short drive away and has a Tesco, Coop, and Spar to do your shopping. There is a fish and chip shop (although closed when we were there) and a really lovely Italian restaurant and takeaway called Ti Amo. The location is utterly beautiful and well-connected. The flat itself is right in the centre of Penistone and within a five minute walk of every amenity in town, and only a short walk from several parks and footpaths.
