Very clean, spacious room and bathroom, great beds, great amenities, good facilities, and the staff were so extremely pleasant. Warmly greeted us at reception and were understanding when we were delayed checking out. I will be staying here again for sure on my next visit to Port Talbot!

    The room was a good size. Location was great.

    The room was a good size. Location was great. Parking was helpful. Unfortunately the front house stafs were miserable to deal with. We were woken up very early and asked to leave despite paying for late check-out. He didnt belive and asked us to provide the proof of payment. Imagine if we couldn't find the receipt. Surely there are systems they have in place to check this. It ruined our morning as we planned on having a lie-in. The while point of our late check-out was defeated.

    A lovely dog friendly beach.

    A lovely dog friendly beach. The walk across the front is lovely and very clean. The local restaurants and cafe's are excellent and value for money. A quiet Midweek break just how i like it. Very good value for money.

    The beach was amazing - I loved the views and my grandson...

    The beach was amazing - I loved the views and my grandson loved the sand! There were several places to eat and a lovely park for my grandson, as well as a leisure centre nearby which would be great to swim in the winter!

    Nice seafront walks and good food reasonably priced at the restaurants, short drive to Swansea and the mumbles.good food at the Front, and for a busy pub restaurant atmosphere the Sand Rabbit was great! - the mixed Grill was a monster!

    The location of The Nest is Duffryn, Afan Valley, about 8 miles from Port Talbot itself. The Afan Valley (where I was born) was formerly a coal mining area, part of the South Waes Coalfield. Since the cessation of coal mining, the Valley has returnef almost fully to its firmet state, with few remaining signs of its coal mining past; as a result, the scenery is stunning. The area is a Mecca for cyclists from all over the UK.

    Lovely peaceful location.

    Lovely peaceful location. Plenty of places to visit and so close to Cardiff and Swansea but the small towns are pretty, worth a visit. Lots of local amenities and an abundance of good restaurants. Lots of things going on even out of season.

    Me and my family are really happy with the property we had everything we needed at the property which was fab, for example the facilities and everything that we need for cooking. The location isnt that bad too it seems far away to the beach but we made it by walking and it wasnt that bad we really enjoyed it. Great time will probably be there next time if planning to go again.! I really recommend this property if anyone fancy going to explore Port Talbot. Thank you so much.

    An amazing clean hotel with high standards. It was a great stay on our way back from work - not a problem to get checked in after midnight. I was surprised to get a booking for a really affordable price. I think the best option you can find for that money. Breakfast was free - all you can eat. We were very pleased!

    Don’t be deceived by the exterior, the hotel has been updated to a high standard. I chose a superior room (206) and very happy with my stay. As an England rugby fan , didn’t even mine Wales rugby memorabilia in the bar !
