Room we had was spacious and well appointed. The evening meal and breakfast was good . Staff were friendly and helpful. As we were only staying one night we did not make use of the leisure facilities.

The hosts were very friendly. When we arrived they were closed but Brian opened the door with a big smile and said ‘is there anybody who wants a bear’. And we could check in. They also prepaired a very good meal just for the two of us and the breakfast was super. In the evening we had a nice chat with a local guest and the hosts, very entertaining. We highly recommend the Golden Lion Inn.

Zia has been a wonderful host throughout our stay. Our 19 month daughter had a great time staying on the farm, where she gets to interact and feed her favourite animals daily. We also signed up for the unique experience where we got to interact with the animals close up and even went on a walk with the alpacas. It was a very enjoyable stay away from the city and being able to wake up to farm animals everyday was a dream for my daughter and I! Overall, we had a comfortable stay in the cottage and would recommend any families with little ones who enjoy the company of friendly animals :)

It was perfect. Lovely people that did their best to allow us to have a pleasent stay. We have been looking for some peace and quiet in a proper welsh country house. The house is as traditional as it can get, but not missing out any of the modern ameneties. You can tell it is well maintained. Also everything was very clean. Slept like rocks in the beds and enjoyed the flat and salon. Just 10 min scenic walk and you end up in Druid Inn Pub thats serves good food (call for table before). I really recommend staying here.

    The house is on the road to Rhydymwyn but is actually in Pantymwyn. Both villages are calm and with very few amenities. We did all our shopping in Mold and Chester. However, Mold Golf Club is situated in Pantymwyn and there is also a friendly pub called the Crown just 400 metres away.

    We have just returned from a fabulous weekend away and Parc...

    We have just returned from a fabulous weekend away and Parc Farm and we will definitely be coming back. The cottage is amazing, so relaxing and attention to detail in every room. WiFi throughout, comfy beds and the welcome gift of bread, chocolate crisps and jam was the perfect finishing touch. Thanks again for a gorgeous stay
