We weren't there long enough to really get to know the village (town?) but it looked as if there were some interesting walks for the dogs, an interesting river,birdwatching oportunities etc, and quite a few pubs for a place that size! Always a good shout. It also lacked a really busy main road cutting through (at least, from where we were staying) so not much traffic noise and easy to get about without getting knocked down!Guest review byo loan - 10.0

The cathedral was very interesting and if you get the chance to take communion there you are made most welcome. Good choice of eating places, main meals or just coffee/tea and cakes. I was staying for business so didn't have much time to explore, however it was a lovely stay. I like the food and the food choices. The staff were very helpful and when I needed assistance with something in the room they were very quick to assist me.
