You feel genuinely welcome and embraced both by the owners (Margaret and Owen) and by the ladies (Natalia and Louise) serving a lovely made to order breakfast exactly how you like it. The hotel is in perfect shape and the room is comfortable with a lovely view over the ocean. Amazing location, my favourite beach in the world. Amazing staff who were all so lovely and welcoming, and great on site facilities meaning we didn’t need to go out but we wanted to explore the rest of Cornwall so we did spend a lot of time out of the hotel but it was so comforting to come back to after long walks. Amazing!

I was lucky enough to have a corner room with dual aspect views, one over the harbour and the other out over the estuary to Rock. The room was nice and spacious, shower was great and the breakfast in the morning was spot on. It is not the cheapest place to stay but the location and service makes it good value for money.

This is probably the best hotel experience we've ever had and possibly the best we will ever have. The staff was amazing. They are not just 'pet friendly' they love dogs and made as much effort to make them feel welcome as their owners which in turn made us feel even more welcome. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. We had no view but didn't need one as we spent very little time in the room. The hotel is brilliantly located next to Fistral Beach with lovely sands, surfing, swimming and restaurants yet it's only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Newquay and two additional swimming beaches. We had a smashing breakfast before we left and dined in the hotel on one of our evenings there.
