    The steep stairs were a bit of a worry. The step down in the bathroom also. The bathroom door not shutting properly without a bang. But all in all - a back yard to sit out in - a quirky house in a very convenient area - a haven near a huge city.

    Had no time to visit places but familiar with area, Sale etc., and associated with it for the past 50 + years. One of the best areas experienced in my staying and living places world wide. Own house here also, for the past 54 years Enjoy every visit.

    Explore Sale before rushing off to Manchester as there are so many interestng things to do there and do not miss having a walk along the canal towpath and stopping off for a drink or meal or evev hiring a kayak for an interesting row on a bright Summers day .

    I wasn't there long enough to really check the area out, as I was going to Manchester Christmas Market. I did like the walk from the hotel to the tram stop. Beautiful old buildings and tree lined street. Managed to go to one pub, forget the name, it was so quaint and so much character. Lovely staff the pub was a short walk from the tram stop.

    Apartment was clean and well equipped.

    Apartment was clean and well equipped. Good size place, simple yet perfectly adequate. Everything was virtually new. Lock box code for keys was changed at the last minute which was a bit of a concern but did get sorted quickly. Rubbish in front garden was off putting. Ideal accomodation for events at The Emirates Stadium Old Trafford, 3 stops and a short flat walk.

    Breakfast was very acceptable.

    Breakfast was very acceptable. Rooms were adequate but decor rather dated and in need of upgrade to create a more modern/inviting appearance. Stayed here last year for a hockey tournament at Timperley and good enough to come back. Will come back next year.

    Great little find for an overnight stay before flying out from Manchester Airport. The bungalow is located in the back garden of the house but access is via a key box so you can come and go as you please. Instructions and communications were excellent before arrival and although we didn't need to, we met our host who was lovely. The accommodation itself is all you need for an overnight stay with a comfy bed, warm room and decent shower. Would definitely recommend and will hope to use in the future when flying out from Manchester.

    Convenient place to watch the Manchester marathon. It was newly refurbished and had a nice shower room. The kitchen had a big fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob. Nice big bed in bedroom but no mattress cover! It was a great place for us although the access was up quite steep stairs. We’re OAPs but we managed. The flat had an entry phone so you could nip to shops across the road and your friend could let you in again.
