From the moment we parked the car everyone was so welcoming and friendly. There was great fun between staff and guests and nothing was too much of an ask. There is a gorgeous outdoor area with picnic benches, an amazing selection of food (the chef was amazing all weekend) and drinks. The location is amazing and there is amble parking. Can't wait to return.

location was great, lovely quiet village with a few pubs and a shop - short drive to scarfell pike or a beach. The cottage was so clean and comfortable too. Had everything we needed. Loved the little garden too, breakfast in the sun was a treat. Had a great couple of nights sleep on a very nice hotel quality bed and bedding - very quiet and dark. Lots of parking on the street outside.

Nice small town, don't expect many shops or cafes/restaurants. The Seaside was very beautiful, easy to walk, with beautiful scenery, golden sand and big rocks. Keep in mind it looks like it's always windy there.

A nice friendly little town with good views over to the Isle of Man or inland to the Cumbrian fells. Good railway links, although I didn't use them this time. Interesting proximity to the Atomic. Nice church and friendly community.

The whole experience was amazing at the hotel, from the staff on arrival till the moment I left. The attentiveness, personal touches, politeness and room was great. It had character, depth and personality. location is pretty central to access other parts of the area. There is a lot near by the hotel. Cannot wait to visit again.
