A lovely, cosy stay.
A lovely, cosy stay. It was a flying visit as I was travelling alone for work but really appreciated how friendly and accommodating the kind staff were on my arrival. Fish and chips for dinner was great! The room was small and cosy, perfect for a solo traveller. Facilities were good and everything was clean. Bed was very comfy and surroundings were lovely. Silverton is a quiet village situated around 10 miles...
Silverton is a quiet village situated around 10 miles outside of Exeter. It has a small shop, a couple of pubs & lots of older housing, many buildings with thatched roofs. It also has a reasonable bus service on a route between Exeter & Tiverton, that allowed me to have a car-free day on my break. My room was spacious and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. There are daily offers in the restaurant throughout the week and are very good value. My breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Parking outside on the main road I found was easy, and there is a local shop just a short distance away.
