South Brent village is in a good location if you wish to visit the other local towns such as Totnes, Buckfastleigh, Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot, as all easily accessible via the A38. I really enjoyed my relaxing weekend at Turtley Corn Mill in the Devon countryside. The venue with well kept gardens and restaurant plus my room were all excellent. Attractive, quirky village/ town. Excellent deli where George was friendly. Unfortunately neither of the pubs were serving food on the evenings we were there. We lived in South Brent for a good many years and were there...
We lived in South Brent for a good many years and were there to catch up with old friends. It's a great location as it sits on the very edge of Dartmoor - so to explore the region is easy from there. On top of that it is 40 minutes from Torquay and Devon's beautiful coastline, and midway between Plymouth at one end of the A38 and Exeter at the other - both historic cities with great shopping.Guest review byTonyFrance - 10.0
