What can I say..this is the best accommodation we have had in skye or even during any travelling. i have never stayed in a caravan before, so it is a first time for us. everything in the caravan is complete. we love the kitchen and the living room with a sofa and lots of cushions. you can cook practically everything - they have oil, pepper and salt. the kitchenware is complete as well. another thing that we love was the heater - in each room and in the living room. it was raining heavily when we checked in and the caravan is super cosy. love every part of it. if i ever come back to skye, i would definitely stay in this place again!

    Just everything I think that the time of year we were there...

    Just everything I think that the time of year we were there (April) made a big difference, less traffic and tourists. The roads area a little narrow and tight driving at times but still passable with care. The beach at Staffin was just great, we spent time just relaxing sitting chilling watching the waves crashing over the rocks. Bliss All the area around Staffin was just amazing, beautiful and serene.

    Staffin is a lovely Trotternish township to base yourself in...

    Staffin is a lovely Trotternish township to base yourself in for some of the most stunning natural scenery on Skye. Easily accessible on the main bus route from Portree/Uig, you can be settled in beautiful, quiet scenery away from the bustle shortly after arriving on Skye; it has beautiful views across the bay and a range of accommodation options to suit everyone.

    Better than the pictures on the inside.

    Better than the pictures on the inside. Wonderful views including the Old Man himself on most days. Beach trail that starts from your front door - head down to the beach or settle down by the waterfall with a book. Short drive to Staffin for dino footprints and a lovely store with everything you need. Wifi worked perfectly. Easy to maintain during your stay as well.

    Staffing is an amazing place.

    Staffing is an amazing place. Lots of walks, views, nature and activities. A tiny dinosaur’s museum at just 5’ away. Just around the corner of the beach and waterfalls. Great views from outside the house and good internet.

    The area around Staffin is so beautiful.

    The area around Staffin is so beautiful. Very secluded so you do need a car. It’s very close to the Quiriang for hiking or just checking out the beautiful vistas. We used this as our home base for Isle of Skye and everything on Skye is easily accessible from the Staffin area. Things are all close distance wise, but driving is slow on the narrow roads so will take longer than you think and Apple Maps actually did a very good job at predicting the time for a journey. The roads were better than we expected but do keep an eye out for potholes! We cooked our meals but Portree has lots of options for restaurants and groceries. Staffin itself has a small convenience store and cafe with friendly staff.

    While at Staffin we drove and/or walked to many of the local...

    While at Staffin we drove and/or walked to many of the local and nearby areas and points-of-interest. No matter what we found the views unique and worth the effort, and, the people extraordinarily welcoming, helpful and happy to answer our questions about the town and its history. Being near the ocean the roads, hills and sidewalks offered very walkable options for our outdoor sojourns — just be sure to dress in layers as the wind can quickly change to feel of the day.

    We had a wonderful stay here while spending a view days at the Isle of Skye. The location was fantastic for exploring the northeast coast and about a 20 minute drive to the town of Portree for shops and restaurants. We were particularly impressed by the splendid breakfast. I forgot to let Rachel know in advance that my partner is vegan, but she was very thoughtful and accommodating when we told her. Rachel was a great host and provided a warm and welcoming environment :)

    Outstanding location near Brothers Point and Lealt Falls. The main attractions of the Isle of Skye are also very well accessible. The facility is very well equipped, well-equipped kitchen, large dining room, comfortable bathroom. Bedrooms comfortable with large beds. Inside clean and aesthetically pleasing. Good wi-fi throughout the property. Good price.

    Easily the best stay of our trip and a very kind host. Superb peaceful and quiet location, well accessible by car from old man storr, staffin beach, quiraing and kilt rock. Idyllic place with a Victorian feel room and amazing views. The Scottish breakfast is very generous and delicious.

    Location was amazing. Views from the place is great and it is closer to all major attractions of Isle of Skye. We had a great time enjoying isle from Taste of Sea. House was also huge and clean and my family enjoyed staying at this place

    Location quiet and with amazing views. Greta was very helpful and keen to make sure you enjoyed your stay. Boat trip from the local harbour at Staffin a few minutes away where we saw sea eagles and seals.
