A beautiful good sized room at a reasonable price. Penty of free parking. For me this is a perfect location when picking up or dropping off a rental car at Heathrow. You wouldn't get anything nearly as nice in London without paying at least 4 times as much. It is a stone's throw from Blenheim Palace which I visited next morning.

Exceptional Stay at 'Dashwood by Aziz' Our experience at Dashwood by Aziz was truly delightful. The accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained, offering a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to Aziz, the owner, for creating such a welcoming space and to Philip, the manager, for his attentive and professional service throughout our stay. The breakfast was particularly impressive—thoughtfully prepared to suit Indian taste buds—with each dish reflecting attention to detail and quality. EVERYTHING!!! The staff Staff was super friendly and helpful, Michael greeted us with a a very charming Welcome!! and Rute at reception, they couldn’t do enough, they were so friendly and welcoming. The Room was fantastic. We were very surprised by the restaurant as the food was also not bad at all and good value too. totally 💯 recommended!!!! Ideal if you want to visit other places of interest and a more traditional ones. this is a New development , it felt so safe and if you are traveling by car, so easy to commute to Oxford town centre and Bicester.

    Arrived slightly early (20 mins) but room still not ready, waited a further half hour and were told we would have upgrade to larger room however reception experience not great. Room was clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Evening meal poor, menu incorrectly typed leading to confusion and food overcooked and tasteless. Breakfast buffet very tired looking, bacon inedible, mushrooms tough and fried egg solid as opposed to runny. Overall impression hotel being run on a shoestring with young inexperienced staff and no evident management guidance.

    Our stay at the Holt Hotel was chosen because of it's location, but what a gem of a hotel. The staff are very friendly, the food is excellent. Lots of free parking. Plenty of choice for Breakfast. All in all a fabulous hotel.

    We used this location as it is close to a railway station...

    We used this location as it is close to a railway station into Oxford. Parking at the station appeared to be free as we could not find a pay machine. We also used the Oxford park and ride - it was excellent and very reasonably priced. I also played golf at Kirtlington (about 10 miles away). Great course and a very friendly club.

    book evening meal before your stay. We were not able to because of staff shortages so therefore had to travel for evening meal. We would have had it at the hotel if possible as the standard of food for breakfast was great!

    The hotel grounds, most facilities, and location were all good - the reason for selecting along with the price. Reservations made via Booking.com, with payment on arrival - for room and breakfast. However, it soon went wrong because breakfast seating (party of 6) was a problem - we were given excuses about too many guests and too few staff - even though they took our money as soon as we arrived. The first two days were embarrassing mainly because of staff attitude (not everyone, thankfully!).

    The hotel is not in the village, but on a crossroads about half a mile away. The village did not seem to have much to recommend it. The pub was shut when we walked over, but that is not the point, the hotel is in a central area with lots of places to visit around.

    The village of Steeple Aston is picture postcode beautiful and only a short drive from the main road. Oxford Parkway park and ride is a short drive as is Blenheim Palace. The village is quiet and peaceful. The cottage has parking for two cars and a small garden with outdoor seating. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are comfy. Plenty of towels provided. There is a well stocked shop a very short distance from the cottage.

    The hotel was clean and comfortable throughout. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast each day was well organised with attentive staff on hand to top up. The cooked breakfast was very nice. We got back very late from a concert at Blenheim Palace and there was still plenty of parking at the back of the hotel.
