Beautifully restored and presented Cotswold stone cottage in a charming little village. 2 good sized bedrooms with very comfortable beds, fresh and modern kitchen and bathroom. Lovely gas fire and central heating so we were nice and warm. Nick is a great host and made us feel very welcome.

EVERYTHING!!! The staff Staff was super friendly and helpful, Michael greeted us with a a very charming Welcome!! and Rute at reception, they couldn’t do enough, they were so friendly and welcoming. The Room was fantastic. We were very surprised by the restaurant as the food was also not bad at all and good value too. totally 💯 recommended!!!! Ideal if you want to visit other places of interest and a more traditional ones. this is a New development , it felt so safe and if you are traveling by car, so easy to commute to Oxford town centre and Bicester.

What a charming place! It is centrally located in Woodstock and walkable to Blenheim Palace. I absolutely loved the staff! They were so kind and helpful, especially at breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast choices were awesome and we loved trying new things. The yogurt parfait was the best I've had! The rooms are very clean. The Crown is easily accessible by bus from London.

My wife and I spent a fantastic long weekend at Marlborough Arms. The Inn lived up to its reputation. The facilities were comfortable and very well kept. The staff were great, particularly Alina and Aniela who made our stay extra special. Breakfast was awesome. We would highly recommend the Marlborough Arms and we will definitely be back.

Arrived slightly early (20 mins) but room still not ready, waited a further half hour and were told we would have upgrade to larger room however reception experience not great. Room was clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Evening meal poor, menu incorrectly typed leading to confusion and food overcooked and tasteless. Breakfast buffet very tired looking, bacon inedible, mushrooms tough and fried egg solid as opposed to runny. Overall impression hotel being run on a shoestring with young inexperienced staff and no evident management guidance.

Our stay at the Holt Hotel was chosen because of it's location, but what a gem of a hotel. The staff are very friendly, the food is excellent. Lots of free parking. Plenty of choice for Breakfast. All in all a fabulous hotel.

We used this location as it is close to a railway station...

We used this location as it is close to a railway station into Oxford. Parking at the station appeared to be free as we could not find a pay machine. We also used the Oxford park and ride - it was excellent and very reasonably priced. I also played golf at Kirtlington (about 10 miles away). Great course and a very friendly club.

book evening meal before your stay. We were not able to because of staff shortages so therefore had to travel for evening meal. We would have had it at the hotel if possible as the standard of food for breakfast was great!

The hotel grounds, most facilities, and location were all good - the reason for selecting along with the price. Reservations made via Booking.com, with payment on arrival - for room and breakfast. However, it soon went wrong because breakfast seating (party of 6) was a problem - we were given excuses about too many guests and too few staff - even though they took our money as soon as we arrived. The first two days were embarrassing mainly because of staff attitude (not everyone, thankfully!).

The hotel is not in the village, but on a crossroads about...

The hotel is not in the village, but on a crossroads about half a mile away. The village did not seem to have much to recommend it. The pub was shut when we walked over, but that is not the point, the hotel is in a central area with lots of places to visit around.

This Hotel was amazing. I honestly was a little apprehensive because of other experiences that we have recently had in 3* Hotels, but this one exceeded all my expectations. The Room was perfect. The Restaurant was perfect. The Breakfast was perfect. The location was so right for the travelling plans that we had in mind. We were so glad that we booked this Hotel and next time we come up to Bicester and the Cotswolds we will use it again.

The village of Steeple Aston is picture postcode beautiful and only a short drive from the main road. Oxford Parkway park and ride is a short drive as is Blenheim Palace. The village is quiet and peaceful. The cottage has parking for two cars and a small garden with outdoor seating. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are comfy. Plenty of towels provided. There is a well stocked shop a very short distance from the cottage.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff were really helpful and friendly. It has a lovely courtyard/ garden area to enjoy your meals or just drinks. Our room was really nice with a small balcony and peaceful.
