Adel was a fantastic host. Nothing was a trouble and so friendly. Unfortunately we didn't have breakfast there as had family staying at Naburn lock caravan park so spent our time there but definitely will next time we book. Can't wait. 👌👏Even little fridge in room with milk etc and complimentary fudge. Unfortunately only had half and forgot to take rest home with me. 😞 Thanks Adel, see you again soon 🥰👌

Staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, I ended up being a couple hours earlier in selby than I first thought. When I let them know, they made sure to push my room clean forward so I could check in a little earlier than I expected.

It is a truly beautiful place. Everywhere I turned there was a picture calling to be taken. The green grass, the beautiful gardens, trees and flowers, the small pond - everything had an Alice in Wonderlandish feel. It’s far enough from the city to be surrounded by beautiful green fields and close enough that you can get a taxi to ride into the city center when needed. The staff was exceptional, always polite and taking care of every request whether it was a cup of tea in the lawns or suggestions of what to do nearby. The spa was also wonderful - with the heated pool, jacuzzi and steam / sauna, it all added to a relaxing stay

Brilliant location, just 15-20 minute drive to York. Wonderful grounds, spa included in the room rate. Having the pub/restaurant on the grounds is very convenient.

We want to thank a lot the staff a lot. We were checking in after midnight, because of the long delay of our flight. The staff was very responsive and accomodating, given it was passed their check-in hours. The bed was also ver comfy and bathroom very clean. Tip for travellers who are not used to pub culture in UK, bring along earplugs, as there may be some notice from the street. Nevertheless, it adds the charm to the place.

The hotel was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small but well equipped. There was a king size bed and it was super comfy. The staff was friendly and the hotel is well maintained and fashionable. Breakfast was superb and my partner and I were really satisfied. The hotel was 15 mins by taxi from the train station or 20 mins by bus.
