Lovely georgian town with easy access to countryside for walks etc. Plenty of pubs and places to eat although it was fair week when we went so a lot of business places shut during this time. Nice market town.
Nice market town. The staff at OYO Leven were unsure about parking regulations. The town does have free parking. Best to check with a local shop about parking. The village was ideal as a base for exploring the local area...
The village was ideal as a base for exploring the local area. I used a car for convenience but public transport is available to all the local areas. Car parking is free in the high street! The walk along the river Leven is very pleasant and I enjoyed visiting the varied shops in the high street. Stokesley is a lovely village with a charming high street and very friendly locals. The takeaway options leave a lot to be desired with YThai and China Wok being the best options. Unfortunately pubs werent open due to C19 however given the friendly locals would imagine a good atmosphere.Guest review byRyanUnited Kingdom

Nice bloke picked us up in the pouring rain. He opened up the boiler room to dry all our kit for the next day, which was being used by a lot of walkers.
