Lots to see and do all within walking distance of town centre . Butterfly farm, places to eat, river cruises, canal side walks, fascinating places relating to W. Shakespeare, and the RSC tower for views, and free exhibition re costume and plays over the years. We ate in the very friendly Pen & Parchment, and in our Hotel.

Sights and attractions were very good.

Sights and attractions were very good. We could have stayed an extra day and visited Warrick castle. We would have liked to do the theatre tour but both days were sold out so need to book ahead if you would like this.

Loads to do in Stratford upon Avon not just Shakespeare stuff. I went to the MAD museum of automatons which was excellent, and the Cat Cafe. I did go to see a performance of a Shakespeare play and did go on the theatre tour which was good, but I liked the walking tour I did on the Sinister Side of Stratford which was very entertaining.

The hotel is in a great location for me, personally.

The hotel is in a great location for me, personally. I wanted to look around the town and to shop,. Also I have family nearby to visit. I had also wanted to go on a ghost tour, and paid in advance, but my delayed timing - due to an accident holding up traffic, meant I missed the tour - and there was no refund!!. Disappointed as it was a genuine reason. There are small boutiques with brand names inside, and a very helpful gold and silversmith. You will need to seek (I have lost the information, sorry) but these shops are in the heart of the town centre. I had a meal at 'The Opposition'. Initially I was placed in a room with a chap nearby who had the sneezes. I was moved (when I requested) to a different room that felt more as if, I, as a lone visitor, was in the hub of the activity. A lady opposite had the most exquisite shoes on.

Lovely clean village not to busy and a few things to see but yet again everything is quite dear to see £5 just to see the grave of shakespere we went to the butterfly farm which was nice bit still quite dear for what it was £9.95 each and not very big. We had great fish and chips but he was £13.50 per portion it was nice but very expensive compared to bristol where we travelled from. We. went the weekend of the food festival lots of different foods to try and drinks to have. Everything is within wallking distance to where we stayed so we left the car at the place we were staying. Supermarkets were also close by

Stratford-upon-Avon, the town, lots to see, lots to do and a river if you like walking / boating. Shakespeare, I suspect the reason for a large number of visitors, his birthplace; expensive. Obviously you have to see it if that is why you have visited but very expeensive for the one building. But the church (where he is buried), Holy Trinity is beautiful with a majestic church organ. The river, the RSC all a must to see. And if you can do an afternoon tea, never done one myself before as I don't like cream but will certainly do again. Oh and another must, the butterfly farm.

The staff were really attentive and helpful, especially the lady at breakfast time. I asked for fresh milk on arrival and was given a carton to take to the room.We had a superior room which was spacious and clean with a decent sized bed and shower. This was in a building next to main hotel. We couldn't hear the road at all. There was a good selection at breakfast time and lots of it! Sausages were yummy. A decent price paid for a hotel only a short drive to Stratford Upon Avon centre and ample parking at hotel.

Great location with an easy to access parking space . A very short walk to the beautiful streets of Stratford upon Avon Town centre . The apartment was very clean , the bed was comfy, and the kitchen had utensils so that you could cook for yourself . The sofa is large and great to flop onto after a long day of trekking around the local areas . Highly recommended 👌

Our room was very good with a comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant in the pub in the evening and the food was good. Ample parking. The hotel is about a 8 minute drive from Stratford upon Avon and I would consider walking not to be an option.
