The cottage was amazing with all of its facilities. Very comfortable, large rooms, bedroom, etc. You could stay here days if you wanted a quiet rest. A quaint little restaurant right next door with excellent menu. Washer, dryer in the cottage. Beautiful grounds with gardens surrounding the cottage. Easy parking right at the house. The host was very nice and helpful.

    We wanted to visit my parents grave and visit family so it was perfect for us. Food at the White Horse was good and reasonably priced. There is a beautiful lake at Strichen. It’s lovely to see the swans especially when they’ve got cygnets.
