Lovely place for a weeks holiday, Swanage has many eating places, sometimes pricey. And the good ones are all reserved quickly. So you have to be quick! It's a lovely seaside town with the usual attractions such as boat trips, arcades and crazy golf. What I did think was good were the amount of public toilets, especially as we went during the peak time of August!! There are plenty of cafes and places to eat. Swanage is a lovely is a traditional seaside town, with a long safe, clean beach and promenade. The shops consist of lots of fish and chip shops, gift shops and the usual amusement arcade found in traditional seaside towns. The staff were helpful and responsive. We were a family group and it catered for the youngest and oldest among us, a comfortable lounge for Grandad who doesn't walk as far these days, good Wi-Fi for the youngest when he was having his screen time, and steps to the beach for the rest of us who fancied a dip after walking into Swanage and back.
