I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Cleanliness in and around the hotel was excellent; the rooms were spotless, and the common areas were well-maintained. The breakfast offered was fresh, tasty, and had a good variety to choose from. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

    Swinton is definitely not a pretty town, but it is a convenient base for getting further afield. Buses pass through to Rotherham and Doncaster, and there are mainline train stations in both Swinton and Mexborough. Meadowhall shopping centre is a short train ride away, and there are cinemas in Meadowhall as well as Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham. Swinton has lots of takeaways, a good Co-op, post office, pharmacy and other shops, with more close by in Mexborough. Drive in almost any direction and you will find some outstanding countryside, nature reserves etc. It's not even a long drive to hop the border into Derbyshire.
