    We were there to meet up with friends was ideal for a short visit and the area was handy for Biggar a couple of miles up the road which is very interesting Symington it’s self does not have much and the hotel is on a hill just off the main road

    Symington is not somewhere you would rate. Staying in the hotel and visiting Symington would not normally occur in the same sentence i.e. while you might want to stay in the hotel you would never think of visiting Symington - there is nothing to see.

    Nicola, our Receptionist, is both welcoming & efficient. A stunning setting with a dedication to provide a pristine environment. Good Parking. Large bedroom with en-suite shower - bathroom in excellent condition & all in working order. The Breakfast & Evening meal served in a large dinning room overlooking the well tendend gardens. The Lounge area looked so inviting, however, too tired to enjoy on this occasion - will definitely rebook this hotel.

    Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really nice. Loved the original staircase, the grand piano and interesting piece of history to read. The hotel had lovely grounds outside.

    Beautiful hotel with the cosy countryside feel, modern rooms, the stained glass windows on the main stairwell were stunning! Staff were warm and very welcoming.
