Absolutely lovely hosts, so friendly and rooms were so lovely, clean and tidy and really spacious! Breakfast amazing and so much of it :0) Very very happy overall - would 100% recommend!!! Can imagine even better when the renovations finished!

the staff was far and beyond professional ..made everything possible to facilitate my earlier check in, defuse all my stress and tiredness from a long travel waving any probable charges ..Tasha Robertson reception agent exceeded by far my expectations giving me all the info I needed made everything easy and doable for me ...similar customer service I received from all personal no matter which dpt ...the location was excellent very high end green clean and without traffic and noises, beautiful tree surroundings, a huge gym which attracts all the city residents, walking distance to the city center ..room was super comfy a huge 60 inch tv screen was an extra surprise ..all the amenities in place even though this was a business trip it's a 100% I will definitely chose this hotel for my next visit in Basingstoke it was by far the best business stay I experienced in a long time I recommend without the slightest of a doubt!!! bars, coffee shops, restaurant even sitting area while waiting for your taxi ...the management and organization of this place absolutely surprised me !!!!!! 10+

We had a lovely room overlooking the golf course. Very quiet room with a comfortable bed. Choice of pillows which was really nice. It was great that there was a bar & restaurant, delicious food. Breakfast was plentiful & had several options. Would I stay again - definitely!

    The hotel/pub is about two miles from Tadley village. Best accessed from the main Basingstoke to Newbury road. We came from Tadley, got lost in the lovely countryside lanes ,which are numerous. one wrong turn, & its chaos.

    Our was an overnight stop so we did not go to Tadley. The whole area is beautiful countryside with some lovely villages. It would be a good place to have as a base for exploring the area and near to Basingstoke and Newbury.

    It's a beautiful traditional pub and converted barns set in a lovely village in the countryside, perfect for a nice relaxing break. 10 mins drive from big towns either way . Great food and if you book bed breakfast and evening meal it works out a lot cheaper, definitely recommend that..

    We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding locally. It was easy to find down a country lane. It is a little way from Tadley - really between Kingsclere and Tadley. Plenty of private parking. Lovely old pub with comfortable, clean, modern, en-suite rooms. We had dinner there on the first evening and the food was very good and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Our room was warm, the bed large and comfortable. Big shower that worked well. Breakfast was good with several hot options. It was great value for money.

    Lovely old pub and converted coach house and stables. Only 15 minutes from Basingstoke. Lovely clean large room with a very comfortable bed. A bit tricky to park the motorbikes on the deep gravel, but would not stop us staying here again, as it was great value and an exceptional breakfast was included, Lovely friendly staff in the pub and evening meals were great

    Super accommodation and lovely proprietor.

    Super accommodation and lovely proprietor. Plenty of excellent places to eat within the immediate area. Our only comment (definitely not an "issue") is that since the place is on a main road, there is inevitably some traffic noise which we are not used to.
