Wonderful fairytale-like castle! Located by a lake, marvellous to take walks and enjoy the countryside! Rooms big and comfortable, cozy areas by the fireplace to relax and enjoy your drinks, calm atmosphere! Staff very friendly and welcoming ( thank you Alex and Mihai!🙏🏻) , always helpful to provide info on the area and its sightseeings. We were easily able to walk from the bus stop to the B&B. It was also an easy walk to everything in town. It was across the street from the canal toe path and that is a lovely walk as well. Location was perfect for people like us who were not driving. We also loved Pauline! She was a ton of fun and worked so hard to make sure our stay was comfortable.

The hotel managers, Ele and Jim, are great: welcoming and with lots of tips on the area. The cooked-to-order breakfast was truly wonderful! The property is quiet, safe and clean, the room big, bright and quiet. We had a wonderful stay!

Andrew met us on arrival and showed us around quickly before leaving the place to us. Him and Iona have been easily contactable and super lovely. The place was clean, cosy and had lots of extra goodies on arrival for us. The views were amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate coming back!

The location was wonderful, with incredible historic sites in walking distance of the cottage. The cottage was beautifully presented and lovely and clean. It was spacious and very comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit in the area.
