Stay at this venue for work every year. Located in lovely tiny village in a welcoming cosy village pub with a few rooms above. The rooms are quiet, modern, well equipped, clean and cosy. Nice walks nearby. Pub restaurant offers a good variety of exceptional food, is often busy, and a nice cooked breakfast. Staff all very friendly. Highly recommend.

Excellent facilities with a lovely spa and pool, steam room and gym. Golf if you like it with lovely views. Room was well equipped. Above the staff were very helpful and friendly, everywhere, reception lovely lady and also breakfast, which was excellent too. Also cater for gluten free people

Breakfast was continental ,however you could pay for a good choice of cooked breakfast . Every member of staff were genuinely lovely and couldn't be more helpful . Clare was really good in letting us know of the different places to visit and made our rooms up every day to a very high standard , just a really happy and friendly person . The room was beautiful and had everything you could need as was the restaurant food and it's plush furnishing made it a really luxury place to stay.

    Business trip.

    Business trip. Visited Great Dawley as a guest of the Town Council for Dawley Day. Preparation for the 150th anniversary of Captain Matthew Webb's first English Channel crossing. Dawley Day was brilliant, put on by the Town Council for families and it was free. Managed to visit Telford Steam Railway for photographic reasons and drop off some of my artwork.

    I visited to go to the RAF Museum at Cosford.

    I visited to go to the RAF Museum at Cosford. Excellent museum, but part of it is currently closed for refurbishments. Don't let that put you off visiting, though. The Italian Restaurant (Radici) at Shifnal is excellent.

    Telford shopping centre is well within walking distance from...

    Telford shopping centre is well within walking distance from the Holiday inn. The centre is very large with a fantastic array of shops and places to eat. Just a short drive from Telford centre is the iron bridge gorge with the iconic iron bridge and museums which well worth a visit. Also close to Telford is RAF Cosford aircraft museum which is free to enter you only pay for parking. The aircraft museum is vast also containing the cold war collection of V bombers. There are simulators to have a ride in and hands on activities for the kids to have go at. Very impressive museum.

    Great place to visit lots to see and do Ironbridge is a must great tea rooms views are amazing and during the week quiet weekends does get very busy Pubs offer get meal deals worth checking them out

    Lots of places to see.

    Lots of places to see. The Ironbridge museums were especially interesting, much Wenlock was superb. Plenty of shops and places to eat etc. We especially liked the Woodbridge Inn near Ironbridge for food and location

    Well recommend lovely place overall.

    Well recommend lovely place overall. Visited Bliss Hill Village fab for everyone all ages and mobility. Changing money in the bank, visiting the old fashioned shops, watching egg dancing, people in costumes and very informative as to what life was like in the 1900. Then went into Ironbridge itself after. Was awkward to park (would definitely recommend park & ride during peak times). The bridge was brilliant and going in and out the little shops, and there was some cafes but this is all based on a steep hiĺl.

    Wonderful location and have stayed here before hence the return. It is very comfortable and the staff and food are excellent. Across the road is a nature reserve which is superb for walking (which we do). Telford is a great place to visit which is close by as is Ironbridge and raf Cosford. A must visit hotel which we will be returning to again in the future.

    Booked very last minute, great communication from host, really central for Ironbridge and really easy to walk from here to the centre and museums. Our children loved the breakfast cereals, a lovely touch! They also let us leave the car there the next day when we visited the Victorian Museum which was really appreciated.

    Really friendly welcome, large and very clean room. Location is great for Telford, Ironbridge and RAF Cosford air museum. The staff work very hard and are very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, large and with nice quality ingredients. Great value for money. Plenty of free parking.
