Such a wonderful place. Beautiful walks all around. Friendly helpful staff. Our son (16) said it was the best place of all the hotels we stayed at. Cook is a phenom.

I stayed here last weekend with some of my family and it was a fantastic experience. The Fountain Hotel is in an excellent location for the town and is situated perfectly for some of the best views the UK has to offer. The rooms were lovely and clean but the big difference about this hotel is the brilliant staff. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and pleasure and the Fountain Hotel is up there with the best for customer experience.

The property pause as advertised. It was supposedly decorated extremely comfortable, clean, quiet, and very restful. The hosts were very friendly and very pleasant to deal with. This would be one of the best B&B properties we have ever stayed in.

    A very cute little village in the heart of the Yorkshire dales, the people were so friendly, lots of wildlife and a lovley tea rooms and pub. Surrounded by hills and the never ending sound of running water.

    The room was hotel standard - better than most B&Bs.

    The room was hotel standard - better than most B&Bs. It was quiet and peaceful and I felt safe. For the price I would have expected a healthier breakfast with more choice and fresh coffee. Cafetieres are very cheap.
