The hotel is lovely, located in a wonderful spot above a small, quiet town. The staff was very kind and helpful, the rooms were special and enchanting, and the dinner was delicious! Keep in mind there's no elevator, so you should travel light (although the staff members helped us carry our luggage). I recommend taking a walk up the hill in the afternoon, it's just a great light walk, and if you're heading toward north-east - I suggest you take the countryside road, it's charming!

Lovely hotel, Wi-Fi easy to access. The staff very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed an evening meal and a delicious breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

What a gorgeous place. We stayed as an adult family of 6 and were delighted as soon as we walked in. Tastefully furnished and equipped, the home was clean and the beds very comfortable. The inset gas fire in the lounge quickly warmed the living areas, and the sun room and front and rear gardens were delightful. We walked up trails behind the home and found wildlife abundant, and we found the Wallace Monument, the historical town of Stirling, and the village of Menstrie all within walking distance or a short drive. Hosts Ailsa & Ross had delicious home baked bread, and local fudges prepared for our arrival. Thanks so much🙏

    Small town with some basic amenities, Small shops, chemists,...

    Small town with some basic amenities, Small shops, chemists, coffee shops and takeaways. It is nestled at the bottom of a beautiful hillscape that goes on for miles. Their is a shopping outlet village just on the outskirts. 10 min drive from Alloa which has all the big supermarkets and other amenities. 20 mins drive gets you to Stirling, nice city with lots to do. The Castle is definitely worth a visit.

    A small town with lovely walks and loads of walking / cycling paths. Surprisingly good facilities in town, shops, takeaways,, pubs....it even has a shopping outlet centre. But the standout feature is the amazing views.

    Great location, amazing view of the hills. Lodge provides everything you’ll need and the under floor heating makes it super cosy even in mid February 😁 lovely path down the side of the lodges, taking you onto a walkway which goes in both directions towards Dollar and Tillicoultry. Horses in the field below were an added bonus. Oh I almost forgot, hot tub was perfect on a cold night, great stay had by all

    This small and cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, two rooms, and bathroom. Parking is no problem. It is an excellent location for traveling in the Lowlands, but we also visited Loch Ness. Right in Tillicoultry, you can go for a walk in the countryside. We traveled around the UK for about two weeks, and Jupiter was our best accommodation.

    A lovely 2 bedroom flat as part of the hotel. It was clean, war, and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Decent shower in the bathroom. Parking no problem adjacent to the property. Janette and Douglas were just brilliant - they went out of their way to check me in as a very late arrival. Thank you

    Very convenient location within an hour of the Edinburgh airport. The town is nice but not a lot of dinner options. The bar in the hotel is nice and the staff very friendly.
