I did lots of cycling in the area with a local lad, an old friend, who put together some excellent routes using all kinds of routes away from motor traffic. Lovely farmlands nearby and further away a seascape that was sublime.Guest review byMurdo - 10.0

Went into Turriff on a number of occasions for groceries or just to look around. We found it a lovely place and very the people very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of car parks which weren't expensive either. Highly recommended trying Pitta's Takeaway there food was excellent, all cooked fresh and reasonably priced to. One night we tried Skipper's for fish, chips and curry sauce, they'd ran out of curry sauce so had what was meant to be mushy peas, but they weren't very mushy. A regular fish was just a little bit bigger then a fish finger and we found it extremely expensive and very disappointing to say the least. We will definitely avoid next time we visit.Guest review byAnonymous
