Upon arrival, we were greeted with freshly baked scones and a generous bowl of fruit. The grandchildren consumed a significant portion of the fruit. Our host provided exceptional service and assistance. The property's location was ideal.

Nice hotel right on the coast at Tynemouth, near Cullercoats. A short walk to the lovely village at Tynemouth and alternatively in the other direction to Whitley Bay. Good restaurant and breakfast served daily sets you up for the day. Good choice if this is the area you seek to visit.

Our first visit toTynemouth and we were pleasantly surprised by what it had to offer. It has the feel of a small resort in that all the major attractions are within walking distance and it is not overwhelmed by tourists. It is also a very convenient base for taking the ferry across the Tyne to South Shields or the Metro into central Newcastle. It also gives very easy access for visiting the many ancient Roman sites in and around Hadrian's Wall. One particular highlight was eating at Riley's Fish Shack, scenically beautiful as it is located on a quiet beach below Tynemouth Priory. The fresh sea food served there was amazing.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful clean beaches of which some are dog friendly. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars nearly all dog friendly especially Allards and Lola Jeans retaurants in Tynemouth village. Lots of interesting historical places to visit. You can drive along the coastal road to visit St Martins lighthouse and Whitley Bay.

Tynemouth is a really nice area to visit. the beaches are lovely and there are many places to eat however I would suggest that you head slightly out of Tynemouth toward North Shields and turn down to the quayside, the fish dishes available there are really good.

First visit to Tynemouth and hotel in perfect location on the promenade close to the beach and ten minute walk into town. Hotel very smart and comfortable. Staff very welcoming and accommodated a request for a late check out. Also upgraded both our rooms at no charge. Breakfast buffet was very good with something to meet everyone's needs, including a vegan and vegetarian. Would recommend.

Great standard of accommodation offered. Understand why the property is restricted to two adults as there are locked rooms for private areas of the flat for when owner visits. Multi level period property with decent kitchen including air fryer. Great location in Tynemouth, with resident parking readily available.

Had a great 4 night stay at this comfortable and spacious property. The location was ideal - a short walk to Tynemouth Metro station and the town centre, and opposite a lovely park. The flat was exceptionally well equipped and we particularly liked the huge tv and spacious bathroom and bath sheets.
