A huge thank you to our hosts who were so friendly and accommodating. This place is a little paradise and just amazing. The views are stunning and it was so peaceful and relaxing to sit in the beautiful garden and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is also cosy and beautifully decorated. We just loved it and would love to stay again. We were also surprised to receive a welcome pack on arrival. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We went to the cottage on a little honeymoon and we took our dog. Honestly, this was a 10/10, short drive into the village with shops and takeaways. All amenities you could think of and well kept. Very clean and the hosts were lovely. We’ll definitely be returning.

Beautiful cottage set in a stunning location with amazing views. The cottage was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. Loved the outside space to sit out in at night. Good location to Cadair Idris and towns close by with shops and restaurants.

The location was perfect, it was so peaceful and the views were beautiful. We had towels and robes and slippers provided and heated floors in the bathrooms. Huge garden for our little boy to run around.

    Well, as I really only come for the Talyllyn Railway, most years, I don't feel very well qualified to talk about the town! I'm a regular at Dine India when I come - the manager used to work in one of our Gloucester Indian Restaurants!

    The area is very quiet, the beach is sandy and there's a small amusement arcade on the front. The town has lots of restaurants as well as some shops. There's a train station and busses pass through. Most things within Tywyn are within walking distance.

    I come to Tywyn in order to visit the the Talyllyn Railway,...

    I come to Tywyn in order to visit the the Talyllyn Railway, of which I am a member. The railway is the first preserved railway in the world, run by enthusiasts since 1951. The railway still has its original locomotives and coaches in working order and dating from the 1860s. Tywyn is a charming little town with good facilities, some excellent restaurants and a good beach. The Fathew valley is worth visiting as are Cder Idris, the Dolgoch Falls, and Talyllyn lake. Beautiful Aberdyfi is a short drive away.

    the property was far too expensive for the three nights stay of the price we where charged of £617.00 this does not reflect In any way the property could be expected to be worth so much per night making an average months charge of over £6,000 pounds (per month based on the price we where charged over a three night stay) that type of expense could put you up In a 5 star london hotel for this duration with meals! ''not here on a rundown estate on the coast of north wales In April''. we have many pictures of areas of neglect from general cleaning starting with the fridge having mould growth, appliances covered In food debris from months gone by, broken window handles bathroom mould, bins not being washed out of old food waste that has missed the bin-liner and neglected to wash the bin each time the let Is renewed, lounge carpet does not reach the gripper rod just inside the upper floor balcony creating a very dangerous trip hazard. decor showing damp stain Ingress In the corner of the ceilings. The front bedroom bed Is clearly many many years old and from the mount of tears maybe so old It does not meet fire regulations, the filth built up behind this bed Is utterly repugnant. This property should not be let until the owners get a grip of cleaning the property regularly to the standard that Is expected for the prices charged. There Is no excuse that the owner does not know of the properties demise and hitherto the letting agents are also accountable. (photo's are available In my possession though not uploaded to my Ipad at this time)

    Lovely little seaside town; The Magic Lantern open mic night on 1st Friday of the month is great - lively even in February. Lovely community. 2 Great chip shops! Salt Marsh Kitchen = top quality food!

    Very handy for the Talyllyn Railway.

    Very handy for the Talyllyn Railway. Fairly close to Cadair Idris, Aberdovey, Fairbourne, Machynlleth, Happy Valley, Corris Railway, King Arthur's Labyrinth and the Craft Centre, so plenty to see and do. Tywyn has a range of Shops and places to eat.
