Very pretty high street, lots of interesting old buildings, obviously some history to be read up on! We were able to have a lovely quiet stroll around in the warm evening. The angel inn did not disappoint.
The angel inn did not disappoint. The rooms are clean, warm with comfy beds and great facilities. The breakfast menu is varied and very well cooked. The staff were so efficient and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Buses run regularly into Southwold which is a beautiful seaside town full of quirky shops, cafes and a couple of welcoming pubs.
