    This is a recently refurbished old hotel which has had no expense spared to bring it up to a very high standard. The ambience is excellent, high level of finishing and comfort. Wansford is a charming old village which is very quiet. The hotel sits next to the River Nene giving a lovely peaceful rural feel. A great place to meet friends and stay.

    This Hotel is a hidden gem in the English Countryside. To find such a hotel with five star facilities, service and food (breakfast was top notch and better than some European Relais) in a country village was surprising. Their shower and bathroom was the size of some hotel rooms and I must not forget the high tech electronic shower - absolutely superb! We were so taken with the property we extended our stay.

    Everything about the hotel was fantastic, the hotel was so Christmassy, the log fires were beautiful, and the food was just amazing, the staff very tentative and our suite was perfect,
