Good location for access into Portsmouth and visiting local...
Good location for access into Portsmouth and visiting local attractions the town itself doesn't have much appeal but its convenient for M27 and A3M and has some nice food outlets and out of town shopping. Lots of historic places within 20 minute drive and great views of Portsmouth and Meon Valley from portsdown Hill x The George on portsdown Hill has amazing food and great selection of beer and is lovely and cosy . Recommend steak and kidney pudding and ham/egg/chips . Portsmouth historic dockyard and spinnaker Tower is a must see and the Forts are really interesting. Waterlooville used to be a good town to visit, but we did have relatives that lived nearby, so that was our primary reason for visiting.
