The location can’t be beat - you walk out the front gate and you’re at the cathedral. Breakfast was PHENOMENAL. All the staff were very kind and accommodating. Room was well equipped, relaxing and had lots of nice touches including welcome truffles!

The hotel was lovely the gardens was amazing the staff was brilliant nothing to much trouble we had dinner booked for 7.30 and I think it was the best dinner we have ever eaten complements to the chef the breakfast was so nice aswel nothing to complain about the rooms was clean and modern everything you needed even a fan I can not wait to go back and stay thank you for making our night away so nice xx

We appreciated all the attention to even the finest of details from the bathroom items, to the decoration, tea/coffee service etc. We thought it was charming to have paper doilies under our cups and appreciated proper cloth napkins. The personnel were fabulous. The food was excellent. The Staff and everything really was very professional. Highly recommended. Merci beaucoup Jacqueline and Marc.

    Easy place to get to, & to visit places of interest within driving distance. Excellent stay at The George Inn, the staff made us feel very welcome. Our room, & the whole place was spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice on the food menu, & the service was excellent. Highly recommend a stay here.
