Watton is more downmarket than a market town.
Watton is more downmarket than a market town. It is not one of the nicest towns in Norfolk. Certainly not picturesque. Too many fast food outlets. Its one exception is the Willow House - a great pub, restaurant and hotel. It is a good place to be based for exploring Norfolk. One of the few hotels etc in the area which didn't allow pets, which was good, so a real plus. Hotel was very easy to find and not far to walk into the town, which was handy as breakfast wasn't available, but was still a very good price.Guest review byCleeve - 10.0
Watton is a lovely little village with everything you need...
Watton is a lovely little village with everything you need within a short walk from the property. Tesco’s, cafes, bakery, takeaways and smaller convenience stores make up the high street for Watton and for motorcycle enthusiasts, there’s even a Triumph dealership!Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom

The little fire place (easy to light because it is gas oven) makes it even more comfortable. The neighbour is very friendly and there is a nice little pub within walking distance. Watton has a nice bakery and everything else you can buy in Tescos.
