Nice and quiet location off the beaten track with some interesting history! The staff were great too - helped me with an odd request related to food without there being an issue which was much appreciated. Comfy beds and tasty food :)

A very unassuming hotel based in a pub setting. It was conveniently located for my work location was close by. Opposite the hotel are a number of shops, one being a post office. Also, there were 3 take away food restaurants next door to each other, so if the hotel food was not wanted, there is local and close by alternatives at hand. The room was perfectly adequate for my needs. It was not a 'luxury' setting but I knew what I was booking when I made my choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a good, pleasant ant QUIET stay.

    Lovely pubs selling quality food.

Lovely pubs selling quality food. Pytchley Inn a few minutes walk from the one, west end. Another pub just outside the front door. Not much in the way of public transport and taxis expensive. Need a car.

We stopped at West Haddon because of other commitments in the area. There are plenty of historic piles to visit and good walking but it ain't exactly a tourist hot spot. This said, Northamptonshire is an under-rated county...but don't tell everyone.

Really nice village located just off the A428 and is a great base for exploring Northamptonshire. It has a Londis for local shopping. There are 3 pubs offering food and drink. We only ate at the Pytchley Inn, and this had great pub grub. It's a quiet village and from our experience really friendly. When staying there you can park on the street and we had no issues with this.

We were visiting relatives in Long Buckby so didn’t spend much time in West Haddon itself. Have had a delicious Sunday lunch in The Sheaf pub in the village on a previous occasion. Londis is a handy shop.
