Lovey beach. Interesting harbour area. Variety of restaurants. Lots to see and do I the area even for those with mobility issues. Particularly liked the Water Garden. We have visited Weymouth many times over the years - it is a wonderful seaside town with many fine facilities. The beach is second to none, and the sea is clean and shallow. For families with children it is a great choice, but then it's a great choice for people of all ages.

Visit for a weekend and stay on the peninsula over the bridge for the old fishing village charm. Around the old harbour good evening hang outs. Walk to Nothe castle and admire the old town winding alleys. If you go when the weather is fine you will enjoy clear sea water swimming. The main town shopping area typical of seaside towns, a bit run down. If you enjoy golfing Lodmoor park. Good for a family weekend or a romantic weekend. If you are looking for action, take your cycles with you.

A good centre for either a beach holiday or for visiting the surrounding area. There is plenty of historical interest in the town particularly if you are interested in railways. The surrounding area provides good walking of the coastal path and the Downs. The Isle of Portland is particularly interesting, but visit more than just the lighthouse!

Everything was just perfect - if I could give 11 stars I would! Steph was the most welcoming host - her home was immaculately clean - the room had everything you could wish for and more! The breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order. We’ve been to Weymouth for many years and stayed in many hotels, B and B’s and guest houses and Steph’s place exceeds all of these by a million miles! Thank you Steph we will definitely be returning. Thank you also from Bentley our dog for making him feel welcome and for his breakfast too!

Absolutely loved staying at The Redcliff, Sue and John were brilliant and so is there Hotel. Loved the location right on the beach with a brilliant view over the bay, short walk along beach front to Weymouth harbor and centre, while being far enough away for peaceful nights sleep. Room was very comfortable and clean with a homely feel and loved the fact they put fresh milk in the fridge everyday!
