lovely surrounding. nice and clean. staff were lovely, polite and helpful. Maria in the restaurant was really helpful and gave us some good tips about places to visit.

I loved the story behind the hotel, and how everything inside had a journey around sustainability - I wish more hotels made more of an effort with this. I didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t share my experience around that sadly, but the area looked nice

Rooms spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms with huge bath. The cooked breakfast was really good, also with vegan options. They were very accommodating to our 18 month old son, and he loved all the space to explore. Couldn't use outdoor space due to atrocious weather but cosy inside.

beautiful old pub in a truly beautiful village. Food, drink, staff and accomodation all great. Accomodation is in converted stables to the rear of the pub, very tranquil. We will definitely stay again

I was immediately welcomed by all the staff, very friendly all. I loved that it was a small, warm and cozy country inn. Amazing full English breakfast with other options too. Nice pub downstairs too.

An ideal location for a stopover for our drive to Cornwall. The food was excellent with a good choice on the menu. Lovely building which has been looked after very well. Everything was maintained and clean.

    Whimple is only a small village but is ideal for exploring south Devon, the village has a main line Railway station with links to Exeter and London, The village pub has a good selection of beers and the food is very good, due to the location, you would need a car to explore this area as there is very little in the way of footpaths in the small country lanes
