Good value for money and a lovely overnight stay for us. A clean, comfortable room with good facilities. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. The staff were first class- very friendly and helpful. You enter the hotel from a rear car park, which doesn’t give the best first impression, but once in the main reception area you are re-assured. The hotel is on a very quiet, peaceful location. It is not sign-posted at all from the A52 through Whiston, which is not ideal especially as the turning into the very narrow lane is tight and not obvious.Guest review bySteveNew Zealand - 10.0

Excellent. Couldn't fault the stay. Staff were exceptional. Food looked and tasted fantastic. Alton towers was less than 10mins away. Unfortunately the noise travelled from the room below us however when I called the manager at 12.30 am she was extremely helpful and did speak to the other guests, she was very apologetic even though this was not her fault. We felt very comfortable there. The staff couldn't have been friendly to our very chatty little boy. They even put birthday balloons in our room. The food was of extremely high quality at a reasonable price and the included breakfast was delicious and we were never made to feel rushed. Just 10-15minutes to Alton towers.
