Staff ah-mah-zing.
Staff ah-mah-zing. If first time user, total lack of direction. Rowdy groups / golf groups need to observe that it is a SPA/ Quiet space, several groups, of very loud golf people, not acceptable! Facilities slightly lacking. There were no bathrobes available when we accessed the spa, my husband is overweight and very self conscious...a robe would have made all the difference. There is also a huge lack of differentiation between spa facilities, exactly what you are entitled to access!!!! This should be discussed at booking in at reception Cold plates and cold food at breakfast also coffee was of VERY POOR quality. Lots of slamming doors at night,sleep disturbed several times overnight. Lack of air-conditioning, this is a major issue. The gym was great and that's about where I have to end with the compliments. Unfortunately we couldn't get any treatments or even a table in the restaurant for an evening meal. Facilities were exceptional, all staff very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was presented well, and Spa/Wellness rooms were very clean and pleasant. It was a bargain rate for B&B and the breakfast had a large selection of food so plenty to choose from. There’s a great pub in the village which is highly recommended. The room I had was in The Paddocks so separate from the main hotel. I could upgrade for additional £20.
