There were no public toilets available and we only walked quickly round before leaving to go back to our B&B. Seemed a busy place with quite a few shops. We stayed at a B&B at a distance from Wigton. I got my booking wrong for a 2 person stay it was down for a 1 person stay but it was sorted out right away we got offered a family room just for the one night then we had to change rooms the day after. The staff was very helpful and very kind. There food they did was so delicious and very filling. And there puddings absolutely out of this world. I will definitely use this hotel again. View of light aircraft and WW2 hangers from this lovely historic building. Room was a good size with an exceptional spacious bathroom, and we had the best sleep of our holiday in the very comfortable bed. Quiet location yet only short drive from shops.
