The room was wonderful, like in old movies, the location was marvellous, the staff is extremely nice. The best full English breakfast I've ever ate. Good thing that the hotel have a private carpark. The price was very good. A real authentically English hotel, with crackling step stairs, old fireplaces, Victorian style sash windows, thick drapes, narrow corridors, stylish wallpapers. It was amazing.

We stayed in the Limes room. It was spectacular and extremely comfortable. Particularly loved all the attention to detail like slippers, robes and complimentary drinks.A generous and delicious breakfast was included . We couldn't have asked for more. We also had a family dinner for 18 booked at Luigi's and the staff,food and service were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed their authentic classical Italian dishes.

    Budget hotel that really needs a refit I would think that in the day it was really nice but standards are very high now in general in places like premier inn However it was ideal for our one night stay because of the location
