Wolverhampton is a very nice city, has good restaurants, shopping centre and more. Very easy to get via public transport. There is a indoor soft play and bowling in Mander centre where there is loads of shops and restaurants. We had breakfast at Starbucks and Macdonald's, afternoon tea at M&S and dinner at Nandos. All the food was lovely and brilliant customer service. Loads of history and culture if you look for it. The art gallery is fantastic and free to enter. Also, the gigantic park with a bandstand, lake, mature trees and flowerbeds, loads of benches and green space plus a cafe serving hot & cold drinks, cakes and ice creams. The city's Victorian architecture is gorgeous but sadly the vibe of the city centre area is quite tired and neglected. The city is gloriously multiciltural and seems very friendly. Wolverhampton is a beautiful city. There are lots of things to do. We went to the shopping centre. There was easy parking, good shops and it was very clean. The stadium is easy to get to (we didn't go on a match day). We went for a tattoo session, and I recommend New Ink Tattoo Studio.
