    We loved Wood hall Spa. It was clean and well kept.

    We loved Wood hall Spa. It was clean and well kept. Plenty of walking for all abilities and ages. Quite a lot of seating around to sit and enjoy the ambience. Historically interesting things to visit, although not old history. An amazing selection of shops. Lovely wooded walks around. This place is special! It just shows some small towns/large villages can do it . Also we found a cafe called Little Dorritt which had good food at sensible prices. It was clean and the staff were lovely and up for a bit of banter. Nothing too much trouble, amazing 😁. Jubilee park is a great space with plenty of things to do there. Lucky locals.

    Been to all spa several times I love Wood all by itself, but...

    Been to all spa several times I love Wood all by itself, but this time the accommodation was not up to standard used to stay in my own caravan until I was unable to maintain, so I thought I would try this accommodation could not recommend.

    Woodhall Spa is lovely.

    Woodhall Spa is lovely. A good range of independent shops - we love the book shop - and some really nice cafes. It has the added bonus of historical connections and the unique Kinema in the Woods - an amazing experience! In the summer season there is also the outdoor pool! So much to do in a small place!

    The teahouse in the woods, lovely restaurant and helpful staff. The deli for fantastic cakes. Bar 11 for coffee and sitting outside watching the world go by. Some lovely shops to browse. You really need a long weekend to fit it all in.

    I had a most enjoyable 3 night stay in Woodhall Spa...

    I had a most enjoyable 3 night stay in Woodhall Spa including one day shopping. I explored the facilities in the woods including the cinema which was a great experience . The staff at the Petwood hotel were without exception helpful and smiling and always willing to help. the bed very comfortable and food good i would recommend this mini break to you especially if you have mobility problems as everything from hotel to town is on one level and i used my little mobility scooter with no problems christine

    It is about a 10 min walk in Woodall Spal and the town is...

    It is about a 10 min walk in Woodall Spal and the town is very typically English which we loved. We enjoyed visiting the nearby park where there was a live band playing 40s music. The local people were very friendly and most said "good morning" to us. We had very good weather which was wonderful. We ate at the Indian restaurant on the first night and the food was very good. The second night we ate in the Petwood Restaurant and again very much enjoyed the food.

    The location, the building, the people and the town itself is wonderful. Well, that's MY personal opinion. If you're someone who wants to pick holes in everything, wants perfection for the price of peanuts, then maybe you won't agree with my review. Personally, as I had not been to Woodhall Spa before, I was enamoured by the charm of this little town. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, even before I got there :-) This is a small hotel in a delightful setting staffed by people who care.

    Convenient location. Comfortable room. Huge bathroom. Ample parking. Good choice of menu, food was nicely presented. Woodhall Spa has a good selection of independent shops. Plenty of information boards explaining the town's history and links with the Dambusters raid. And if you fancy a change from dining in the hotel there are varied restaurants to tempt your taste buds.

    Location was brilliant as it was out in the countryside with the opportunity for lovely walks. Some might find it a little remote but I loved it and Woodhall Spa was a 10 minute drive away. Very comfortable and the host, Robert, was extremely helpful - thank you.
