Excellent friendly hosts who live on site. It was on a small hobby farm - coming off a farm ourselves it was ideal! Our room was on the ground floor so easy access. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Walk in shower. Big bed. Excellent instructions on how to get in to the property. Very helpful with where we could dine. Being rural it isnt near a town but we had a rental and the recommended evening dinning was very nice. Breakfast was included and could be full cooked if wanted it. Good wifi. It was very clean. Having a farm "attached" with sheep, lambs and cattle was a bonus for us.

Very nice and lovely place. A little bit tricky to found the location, but the owner sent the pictures which makes it easier to found. The bed is comfortable, shower, toilet and all what you need for peaceful stay, no phone signal, just nature and good company, feels like out of the world and technologies

    We saw the outside stadium (had no time for a tour of that facility), bought some Wrexham football club souvenirs downtown at a bigger store than is in the stadium, and enjoyed a pint and lively conversation in The Turf pub. Met a fellow who took us downtown and did an impromptu tour of Wrexham! He was knowledgeable and good fun! Getting around is easy via walking.

    Great vibe to the place really friendly, good nightlife and some good places to visit. A short walk to the Football ground or the William Aston hall which is quite a nice venue stayed at the Wynnstay Arms but there is a Premier Inn nearer.

    People were friendly. Enjoyed the history. Ate at Zerno. It was grand. Vault 33 was fun. Wynnstay Arms was good. The Fat Boar had a great Sunday special for 11 pounds! Nag's Head had good food. Would love to return and stay longer. We walked every where.

    On arrival having an excellent journey by train and bus plenty of atmosphere around excellent shopping plenty of top name stores as well as a market very busy place plenty of cafes pubs a lot to see and do cannot wait to go back

    Wrexham has changed over the years like almost every other...

    Wrexham has changed over the years like almost every other city/town but still has some of its old charm. Lots of old pubs long gone but more than enough to have a great time during the day or evenings. Lots of places for food, and a nice drink be it cafe or pub and to suit every pocket.

    The centre was pretty run down and dead at night.

    The centre was pretty run down and dead at night. Only thing that would have been worth a detour was the parish church of St Giles (more like a cathedral). Luckily we were only there one night en route from the south to N. Wales and saw the church before we left in the morning.

    Polite, friendly staff, providing a good service in a small independent hotel at very reasonable prices. Breakfast cooked to order (rather than a hot self service buffet) is always a bonus, because you are guaranteed it is hot. It's not a luxury venue or a stunning location, but it was very comfortable and convenient for the work I was doing in the area.

    The restaurant put out quite good food! Thought it might be of typical hotel quality but better than expected and good hearty portions. Good easy access to smoking area and ample parking, a good alternative to heading into Wrexham city as it was located on the outskirts.
