Hollies Farm B&B was a lovely place to stay. We had a beautiful room (Countess) which was well furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay - including a kitchen area with fridge and coffee maker. It was spotlessly clean and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, cooked by Paul in his outdoor kitchen. Paul and Nicola were very welcoming and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. There are some very good pubs and restaurants in the area for evening meals. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Beautifully renovated apartment in a great location in the middle of town with parking nearby. Wish I could have stayed for longer. The apartment had everything you could need, full kitchen with appliances, hair dryer, clothes steamer, nice collection of glassware, great shower and comfortable bed. Gorgeous space to spend a few days in Wrexham. Host was very helpful too. Highly recommend!

    On arrival having an excellent journey by train and bus plenty of atmosphere around excellent shopping plenty of top name stores as well as a market very busy place plenty of cafes pubs a lot to see and do cannot wait to go back

    Wrexham has changed over the years like almost every other...

    Wrexham has changed over the years like almost every other city/town but still has some of its old charm. Lots of old pubs long gone but more than enough to have a great time during the day or evenings. Lots of places for food, and a nice drink be it cafe or pub and to suit every pocket.

    The centre was pretty run down and dead at night.

    The centre was pretty run down and dead at night. Only thing that would have been worth a detour was the parish church of St Giles (more like a cathedral). Luckily we were only there one night en route from the south to N. Wales and saw the church before we left in the morning.

    I went back to watch the football having been brought up in the town (now city). Wrexham has seen something of a renaissance in the last couple of years thanks to interest and investment in the football club. Friendly people and a great base to explore beautiful North Wales.

    A lovely stay in such an idyllic location. John, the host, was so welcoming greeting us on arrival and available to contact during our stay if we had any questions. What John didn't tell us on arrival was in the welcome pack in our hut, filling us in on the site, local area, things to do and the history around us. We will be booking to come here again as there was quite a few bits we just didn't get time to see. Overall a lovely, relaxing stay with a comfortable, clean and cosy hut to stay in. Just perfect.

    Polite, friendly staff, providing a good service in a small independent hotel at very reasonable prices. Breakfast cooked to order (rather than a hot self service buffet) is always a bonus, because you are guaranteed it is hot. It's not a luxury venue or a stunning location, but it was very comfortable and convenient for the work I was doing in the area.

    beautiful little bolthole. So clean and cosy. We felt right at home. The location is set in stunning scenery and the local community were very friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, we have friends in the area and will be using this property again when we come and visit. Thank you for making it such a memorable stay!

    While the hotel and in particular the public areas looked in need of an update, the room was spotlessly clean, if a little dated. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The highlight of our stay was service provided by the staff. Every staff member I had dealings with were outstanding, cheerful and professional.

    A warm welcome awaits you in this charming hotel. They also provide a good, freshly cooked breakfast with various options - always welcome. Easy walking distance to the town centre and restaurants etc. (I recommend IJazz if you love 5* Indian cooking!) We chose it for it's proximity to Wrexham AFC (10 minutes).
