The room was outstanding. Roomy, clean, comfortable beds, opening windows with cushioned seats in them, and an exceptional bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities that included fresh coffee and a press, as well as a thermos with milk. Very friendly people, good food, although, due to a busy Sunday the Cheeseburger was sold out, but that always makes me happy as they then do not come out of a freezer. Breakfast was perfect. Many choices, even up to a Bloody Mary if you are in need of one :-) Location right next to a road (hey, it is an inn...), ample parking and very close to Stourhead House. Also an easy couple of hours from Dover which makes it a nice target for your first or last night in Britain.

The room had plenty of space to store luggage. The interior is modern and comfortable. Especially the bathroom was big, had separated shower and bathtub so that also longer relaxing stays are possible. Although the room is behind the Pub it was calm so that we slept well. The staff was welcoming and friendly so that we felt at home. The food in the restaurant is of exceptional quality. We visit the restaurant for years and always plan a visit when we are near Wincanton.

Super clean, comfortable, and modern with easy access and a lovely host. Smart TV with Netflix was great, sofa bed in the living room and we liked that it was like a small cosy apartment and not just a room. Davina the host was lovely in accommodating us, as we booked very last minute - she brought us some milk for tea and a heater to warm us up whilst we waited for the main heating to come on :)

    Zeals is a convenient stopover point if wishing to break...

    Zeals is a convenient stopover point if wishing to break your journey from SE England to the West Country. (We travelled from Kent to Cornwall). It is very close to National Trust Stourhead. Other than the Bell & Crown we didn't really explore the village, but we can thoroughly recommend the Bell & Crown for an overnight stay or a lunchtime stop.

    Rooms and extras in room are high quality. Customer service was very good and the food was also very good quality amd tasty, the food also offered extremly good value for money in terms of quality and portion size.
