The place was very, very quiet (you only heard the rustling of th sea) and the view on the sea was extremely beautiful, one of the best sea views I ever saw (and I travelled a lot!). When I was there I also saw very many butterflies. The room was well equipped with fridge and tea facilities. The lady can make good meals. The village of Sauteurs is only half an hour walking from the place over a quiet road. Sauteurs is a little dull but has a certain Caribbean charm.

Location of Villa (we were in “Lemon”) which fronted the beach and had a lovely veranda with comfortable seating and a hammock as a bonus. Meals were taken outside on the restaurant balcony which overlooked the sea with wonderful views of nearby islands. All the staff went out their way to make sure our stay was one to remember. I would recommend visitors take the Sunday morning walking tour that for us ended in a beach bar in Duquesne Bay.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Clubhouse. The hospitality and care from Marcus were beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. We were treated like royalty and will never forget it. Great location. I love how discrete and private it was. The lodge is surrounded by lush nature and it’s possible to explore the coast and find local gems, such as an abandoned old village facing the ocean. the food was really good and the staff super friendly.
