This is a family-run hotel and the owners are externally friendly, hospitable and helpful. The rooms are air conditioned which is a great relief during the hot summer months. The food is great. I arrived in at Kutaisi airport in the middle of the night. Although my flight was delayed and immigration took me a bit the driver of the hotel which I booked in advance was patiently waiting for me. We reached the hotel in about 10 minutes, everything was perfectly clean and I could rest a few hours before my connecting flight in the next morning :-).

We have arrived almost by midnight. It was raining like crazy outside. Owner came to pick us up in front of the property. Welcomed us and accomodated us. We stayed there just for 4 hours as we had to catch early flight by morning. Owner prepared breakfast for us in advance. But most importantly he woke up at same time (4.a.m) as us, so he could drive us to the airport. What a gesture, never seen it before. Without him it would be struggle to get to airport that early. We had a comfy bed. Place is designed as old church, so there is specific atmosphere we liked. And a price? Lovely. You can not miss with this one.

Stayed one night (in the smaller cabin, 2 adults and 2 kids and we found it spacious enough for all of us) and we had such a good time and could experience the rural Georgia. Our kids loved to be around the animals and we loved to just prepare food in the outdoor kitchen, relax at the terrace etc. If I compare to all the places we have been at in our 3 week trip in Georgia, Genacvale has the best Wi-Fi! It’s also impressive how they have built this houses themselves. The hosts was super friendly and we felt very welcome. There are many beautiful places in the area and you can easily stay more nights if you would like to explore the nature and other villages around!
