Everything was perfect, the location is outstanding. Lovely secluded, serene and in the middle of a beautiful sprawling vineyard surrounded by the caucasus mountains. After the hustle and bustle of Tbilisi, we toured Kakheti. Just outside Telavi we stumbled upon Chateau White Flags, an oasis of tranquility with a beautiful view of the Caucasus. The welcome was warm. The hostess conjures up delicious dishes on the table. The wine, made by the host, was exceptionally tasty. With an eye for tradition, but with an open mind for the melting pot of cultures that come together here. After a delicious dinner, we immediately booked an extra night. Enjoyed an extra day of reading by the pool and an additional culinary evening. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended in an excellent location!
