    I like that it was centrally located, easy to get to pointe...

    I like that it was centrally located, easy to get to pointe a pitre, with the bust stop being a cross the road from the apartment. It is also way to get to supermarkets, The aquarium , within walking distance to the beach.Feels very safe . Just about 20 minutes from pointe a pitre airport.There is also a mc Donald's a,KFC and burger king restaurant within minutes of Le Gosier.

    Le Gosier is nice but explore the island as there are many great areas and beaches. Plage de la Grands Anse is magnificent and there are great eating options there too. Place a l'autre bird is a nice beach also with great local food.

    Book a reliable taxi for trip back to airport. I booked the day before and it did not show up. We were very grateful that someone from the residence gave us a lift! Very nice people from Guadeloupe and ready to help! The bus also comes nearby and we used it to get to a grocery store and to the warf to take the ferry boat to the island. Just be patient when it comes to the time waiting for bus.

    Good place to stay if you are not renting a car...

    Good place to stay if you are not renting a car... Everything within easy walking distance. Small beach within a park area was very pleasant. Dacha beach a little further is larger and a super beach... Great beach bars and restaurant and great large tree providing shade on the beach. The little town is very local with lots of character and friendly people. Interesting graveyard to visit too.

    1) As a vacation destination and the importance of a balcony...

    1) As a vacation destination and the importance of a balcony for accommodation, I have to mention that the door to the balcony due to the broken key inside the lock was not accessible and locked for more than 2 weeks and took 2-3 days and visit of a repair person visiting the place. 2) Most importantly, there is a shortage of water for about 12 hours per day in the property and very difficult to have a proper shower in the place because water is cutoff in the morning or afternoon for showers and this issue was not mentioned at all in the description of the property and I was not aware of that. 3) This problem I am mentioning here is the worst thing that happened to me in whole of my life that when I sent a message to the owner of the property in English, she sent a voice message that it was STUPID that I spoke just English and no French. It was shocking for me. 4) When I arrived to the facility, for 3-4 first days I did not have internet as WIFI did not work and it was important for me to have it for my work. 5) Also, the air conditioner did not work for 3-4 days when contacted to the person in charge he said that I had to contact to the owner of the property but after 3-4 days the air conditioner started to work. 6) There was a problem with electricity due to the water linkage from the second floor and shortage of electricity for more then a week and just today fixed. for a week there was no electricity in the corridor and toilets, and the facility was not properly cleaned.

    The property is as the description states, not always the case. Losing the water on the island for almost two days is an island problem, not the property's fault. They did what they could to lessen the effects of the outage.

    I love the hotel and it’s our favourite. We’ve been about five or six times now. The Spanish chef was warm and wonderful and so was the server with the braids who is there every time we go. The receptionist man went all out to make our stay memorable. The location is amazing with a fabulous view, beach and pool. The food is outstanding.

    Everything was perfect at this place. There is everything you need. Owners are super friendly and hospitable. Only thing that could be improved was location, sending direct coordinates on google maps before arrival could be considered.
